Dental extraction would be done in case almost the tooth's whole surface is affected.

Prevention is the best treatment. This is the same with other health ailments. We should limit our intake of sugar and starch. Proper brushing and flossing will help remove plaque. Using a mouthwash reduces the bacteria.
