Milk & 3 Benefits For Children By Demetrios Gabriel

By Katie Arden

I believe that there are many health concerns to consider when it comes to children and I believe that calcium is amongst the most important. Milk is great for this purpose and I believe that parents should be better able to incorporate this into the diets of their kids. What are the reasons for this, though? Why is milk such an important aspect? Demetrios Gabriel may be able to offer insight, as here are 3 strong benefits that can be attained with the consumption of milk.

1. One of the most common aspects about milk is in its ability to build healthy bones. It's an obvious point to consider but it is one that, in my view, should be covered because of how often milk seems to be overlooked. Demetrios Gabriel can tell you, though, that milk is not only able to help your joints strong but your teeth as healthy as possible, too. Without milk, our bones may not be as robust, which is a concern for many medical authorities, Gabriel Pediatrics included.

2. If you are looking for a source of hydration for your body, did you know that milk can do the job well? Believe it or not, milk contains water molecules, which are needed in order to keep the body hydrated for longer periods of time. Yes, water may be the better product for such an instance but I feel as though there are alternatives to consider. Milk also stands out because of its natural vitamins, which are ones that you cannot necessarily attain from water.

3. If you are looking to improve your skin in the long term, milk is a difficult product to overlook. Lactic acid is able to help in the way of skin care, bringing a sense of glow to it that might have been lost. In addition, the usage of milk can allow the skin to become smoother to the touch, which is another point that is tough to overlook. Along with the many antioxidants associated with milk, your skin will fare much better against the potential environmental impact brought to the skin.

Of course, people may be more focused on the idea of calcium, which is an important nutrient that is not found in many foods. What if someone does not care for milk, then? They are not without other choices, though, as such foods as yogurt, cheese, and even soybeans contain this nutrient in high amounts. However, if you want to attain the other benefits listed before, you are going to want to stick with milk, making sure that it is included in your regimen in the long term.
